DAY 1

Saint Trinity Lavra Monastery. Underground Monk Cells
Drive to Sergiev Posad from Moscow is approximately 2 hours, one way.
Visit to Saint Trinity Lavra Monastery - one of Russia's most important religious centers founded in the mid-XIV th century and in 1993 declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. 
Underground Monk Cells in Gethsemane-Chernihiv monastery - located in men's monastery founded in 1847 which has underground hand-dug monk prayer cells. The local guide will tell you about the life of the monks, and you can also get healing water from an underground holy spring. Lunch Break (optional)
OPTIONAL
Matrioshka Factory (1 hour) - welcomes guests to watch  the most famous Russian souvenir, the nesting doll - Matryoshka. Afterwards, you have a chance to paint your own wooden doll to take home with you.
Russian Bells  - exhibition of working old and modern bells of different shapes and sounds. This 1,5 hour tour will give you a chance to learn about difference types of bells and hear a soothing short melodies.
